Gen1 Sportsturf

Turf consulting with enquiries, quotes and invoices joined up

A turf consultant who sells to golf clubs, bowls clubs and sports grounds. The website does not end at a contact form. Every enquiry goes straight into the business's CRM, and two staff tools turn a conversation into a quote, and an accepted quote into an invoice, without retyping anything.

Running on this page

The two staff tools, live

Not screenshots. Both are the business's own page code, running here on an invented club. They run themselves. Touch either one to take over.

1. Building a quote

Running by itself. Touch it to take over

Demo. The staff Quote Console from Gen1 Sportsturf's website, running on the site's own page code. On the live site it saves a draft estimate in their GoHighLevel CRM, and only sends it when staff press Send. In this copy a stand-in in your browser plays the CRM and applies the same rules, so any password opens it and nothing is saved or sent. The client and club are invented, the prices sit within Gen1's published prices, and analytics and the booking link are removed.

2. Turning an accepted quote into an invoice

Running by itself. Touch it to take over

Demo. The staff Invoice Console. On the live site it lists the quotes clients have accepted in the CRM, loads one into a draft invoice in a click, and only sends it when staff press Send. Here the accepted quotes are invented sample clients, priced within Gen1's published prices, and nothing is saved or sent.

What is running

What is behind the site and the two tools

Six mechanisms. One line each.

  1. Every enquiry lands in the CRM

The site's forms post to a small server function that creates or updates the contact in the business's CRM, and files the answer about the facility in its own field. So nothing is retyped, and every lead is where follow up happens.

  2. Service tiers a buyer can place themselves in

The services are written as tiers by the size and need of the facility, with booking and an irrigation audit offer on the page. So a committee member can work out what fits before anyone picks up the phone.

  3. A quote tool behind a password

Staff open the Quote Console with a password that is held in memory only and checked on the server on every call. So the tool can sit on the public site without anyone else being able to use it.

  4. Draft first, send second

Building a quote saves a draft estimate in the CRM and shows a preview. Sending is a separate, deliberate press. So a quote is never sent by accident halfway through being written.

  5. An accepted quote becomes an invoice in one click

The Invoice Console lists the quotes clients have accepted, loads one into a draft invoice with its line items, and again sends only when staff say so. So nothing is typed twice between quote and invoice.

  6. Details taken from the CRM account, not typed in

The business name and time zone on each quote and invoice are read from the CRM account itself, and phone numbers are put into the format the CRM needs before sending. So every document matches the account it came from.

What this makes possible

Two sides of the same build

For the club

  • Find the level of help that fits the facility, without a sales call first.
  • Book a consultation or ask about an irrigation audit from the page.
  • Get a quote that matches what was discussed, with the line items spelt out.

For the business

  • Every enquiry is already in the CRM, with the facility details in their own field.
  • Quotes are built in minutes and checked before anything is sent.
  • An accepted quote turns into an invoice without retyping a line.

The site is public

The staff tools are private, which is why the copies above are here.

Worth saying plainly

No one client has done the whole journey yet

Every piece of it is live somewhere, and we can show you each one.
